Set up your website as a Source and use engAIge to leverage actions that website visitors take on your site.

The good news is that setting up Website Sources is extremely easy if you have some background in low-code development, or have a web developer handy to help you out.

We suggest that Website Source setup should be one of the first tasks you complete. To do so, you need to do four simple steps. All of them take place under the Websites section of your Settings page:

  1. Fill in your Website URL. You can drop the https:// of the URL when entering the website name.
  2. Add a description to help the rest of your team members recognize this website in the future.

3. When you Add the website, a Javascript code snippet will be generated by engAIge. This snippet should be copied and used by a front-end developer to insert into the webpages of the site that you are integrating with. This will allow your team to use engAIge to interact with the web pages using the events and actions.

4. After inserting the code snippet on your website, you should be able to view the script when you inspect the site elements.

Your website is now integrated. We hope you're excited to start automating your site visitors' experiences! The feature is powerful and can take your marketing and sales automation to the next level.
